I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite Him in. And I ask Him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.
– Ephesians 3:14-19 MSG

My Professional Bio

Sasha is a certified therapist and an advocate against human trafficking, passionately dedicated to guiding those who are broken towards healing through Jesus. She has worked in safe houses in Atlanta and organized retreat days at the lake, consistently helping women find their freedom in Christ. Finding Willow has allowed Sasha to share her personal story and express the depth of God’s love for others. Originally from Britain, she resides in Georgia, USA, with her husband and three adult children.

Her journey began with missionary work in Bolivia, Brazil, and New York, and she later served as a trauma therapist for survivors of human trafficking in England, Moldova, and Atlanta. Throughout her experiences, her commitment has remained unwavering: to help women find their path to freedom. As a storyteller at heart, Sasha now uses her writing to guide women to the truth through the narrative of Willow and the blue mat.

My Latest Book

“Willow and the Blue Mat” is an illustrated self-help book aimed primarily at women, though it can benefit anyone who feels trapped in a cycle of lies. The book reveals that there is a way out, and that way is the TRUTH. It empowers readers to understand the source of these lies and how to break free from their destructive patterns by grounding themselves in God’s love. With beautiful illustrations depicting Willow’s journey from abandonment to rescue, this simple story delivers a powerful life lesson. The book includes a study guide to facilitate a deeper transformational journey for those who seek it.
Learning to trust God after living on our blue mat of fear, rejection, and control can be a walk of trial and error. In fact, numerous lodgings on the blue mat may have to occur before we can walk in the knowledge of a faithful God and trust Him with our brokenness.
